VOLUNTEER PROFILE
Name: Scott Summers
Age: 18 years old.
Physical Appearance: Here
Point in Timeline: A few months after the mansion is rebuilt by the end of the movie.
World Description:  wiki link
History/Background: Wiki link, his bio is the one in the revised time-line.

Noteworthy Positive Characteristics:

· Good-naturedly He's generally easy going and has a sense of humor, often falling on the sarcastic side but without real malice unless it's someone he can't stand, then the snark can turn downright vicious. Overall, Scott goes for a combination of blunt truths and disarming openness and charm to keep things moving. He becomes gentler when he's around people he trusts and doesn't feel like he has to put a front.

· Broad-minded: Scott cares little about people's appearance and their oddities, he's receptive and likes to get to know the person better before making any sort of judgement. He doesn't even seem fazed by Kurt or Hank's looks and becomes friends with both in a short period of time.

· Heroic: A direct result of his brother's death is that Scott tries really hard to honour his sacrifice by helping others and generally doing good. He's not scared of heading head first into battle if that's what the situation requires, no matter the risk of getting killed in the process.

· Analytical mind: He's smart and thinks quickly on his feet, almost instinctively taking the role of the leader when things go south. In battle he becomes the level-headed type, always thinking about the best strategy to circumvent whatever obstacles they encounter.

Noteworthy Negative Characteristics:

· TemperIt doesn't exactly show at first glance but Scott can be really contrary, acerbic and snarky when displeased. His natural determination has the negative side of making him headstrong and confrontational when he's being moody.

· Easily boredIf there's no entertainment, Scott will find ways to create it himself, even if it involves stealing a fancy car. He hates being idle and doing nothing prompts him to act for self-indulgence and the excitement of the moment rather than long-term plans. He's growing out of it and trying to be more responsible, though.

· Low self esteemHis occasional bad temper is a way to hide and compensate his insecurities. He considers himself a freak due to his powers and they frustrate him to no end. After Alex's death, he mentions his belief that his brother was the only one who was going to do something useful with his life, not him. Scott doubts himself more than he lets on and bottles up some of his feelings to give out a more of a casual attitude.

· InexperienceScott is an apt student and a quick thinker but he's also barely an adult, from the 80s, and a virgin. Sex ed class wasn't exactly stellar back in the day so he still has a lot to learn about certain subjects, sexual or not.

Character Fears: Failing and getting the people under his charge killed are his main worries. His eye beams being uncontrollable cause Scott a lot of stress on a daily basis because he knows could kill people with a look if he's not careful.

Powers/Abilities:

Energy blasts: Scott emits blasts of red energy out of his eyes. They’re a massive concussive force and can ricochet through different surfaces to hit one or more targets in one single shot. Because of Scott’s brain injury he has no control over the beams and his eyes constantly emanate the energy.

Personal Item: He comes with the Ruby Quartz Sunglasses already on his face and wearing his uniform, so the item he will be bringing is his combat visor. Unlike the normal glasses, he can adjust the aperture of the lens to fire a blast of different width and strength.

I'm looking for a friend. [ Scott pauses briefly, makes a face and starts again. ] No, not like that. I'm really looking for my friends and maybe you've seen them around.

One of them is tall, has dark hair with highlights and not a mean bone in his body. He's also blue as a blueberry, with pointy ears and a tail. Goes by Kurt.

Jean's tall, with red hair and light skin. Might burst into flames if displeased, so be nice to her.

[ At this point it might sound as if Scott is shitposting but if his face is anything to go by, he's being serious. ]

Peter is ta...why is everyone taller than me?...anyway. Peter acts as if he's had a dozen too many cups of coffee, wears goggles and has silver hair. Ororo is dark skinned with white hair styled in a mohawk. Like Jean, don't bother her or you might regret that decision when you get your ass fried by a lightning bolt.

If anyone knows where they might be, I'll appreciate the information.

Ta!
